Pioneer in Full Spectrum LED Lighting
Kweekotheek was at the foundation of one of the first full-spectrum LED grow lights for the consumer market. In collaboration with Led Flower Growlights, we introduced the first Spectrabox LED grow light with a broad light spectrum in 2008.
In a period when LED grow lights almost exclusively used red and blue LEDs, the Spectrabox introduced a broader spectrum including white light, UV, and infrared.
Soon after, a separately adjustable growth and bloom spectrum was introduced, allowing growers to work even more efficiently.
Many of these techniques have since become the standard in modern LED grow lighting.
Sulphur Plasma: Artificial Sunlight
In addition to LED technology, Kweekotheek has spent years delving into Sulphur Plasma lighting. This innovative light source is known for its very broad light spectrum, which closely resembles natural sunlight.
Due to its unique spectral properties, Sulphur Plasma offers interesting possibilities for plant cultivation, research applications, and environments where a naturalistic light representation is desired.
