Quality comes first
At Kweekotheek, we only supply products that we fully endorse. Nevertheless, it can happen that a product unexpectedly shows a defect or does not function properly.
In that case, we are happy to help you further. Together we always look for a suitable solution.
Legal warranty
As a consumer, you always have the right to the legal warranty.
This means that a product must meet what you can reasonably expect from it.
Is that not the case? Then you are entitled to a suitable solution, such as:
- repair;
- replacement;
- delivery of missing parts;
- or, if that is not possible, (partial) refund of the purchase price.
The legal warranty applies in addition to any manufacturer's warranty.
Manufacturer's warranty
Many products also come with a manufacturer's warranty.
The duration and conditions vary per manufacturer and product.
When a manufacturer's warranty applies, we state this on the product page or in the accompanying documentation.
The manufacturer's warranty never limits your legal rights as a consumer.
Requesting warranty
Do you think a product is covered by warranty?
Then contact us by email or via the contact form.
Please include:
- your name;
- your order number;
- which product it concerns;
- a clear description of the problem;
- some photos or a short video of the defect (if possible).
This allows us to help you faster.
Our working method
After receiving your warranty request, we will assess the situation as soon as possible.
Depending on the problem, we will choose the most suitable solution together with you.
This could be, for example:
- technical support;
- delivery of a replacement part;
- repair;
- replacement of the product;
- refund when repair or replacement is not possible.
Our goal is always to help you get back on track as quickly as possible.
What is not covered by the warranty?
Warranty does not apply to damage caused by, for example:
- improper use;
- incorrect installation;
- insufficient maintenance;
- normal wear and tear;
- falling or bumping;
- moisture or water damage;
- fire or lightning strike;
- modifications or repairs carried out without permission.

Warranty on LED grow lights
LED grow lights have a long lifespan, but consist of various components such as LEDs, drivers, and dimmers.
Should a component become defective, we will assess the best solution for each situation. In many cases, a component can be replaced without having to replace the entire lamp.
That is not only faster, but also more sustainable.
