Fan controllers for optimal ventilation control
With a fan controller you can regulate the speed and capacity of a compatible exhaust fan. This allows you to better adjust the air exchange to the conditions in your grow tent or grow room and prevents a fan from having to run continuously at maximum power.

Manual and automatic fan controllers
With a simple fan controller, you set the desired fan speed yourself. This is useful when the maximum capacity of a fan is not continuously needed and can also help to reduce noise production and energy consumption.
If you want the ventilation to automatically respond to changing conditions, you can choose a suitable climate controller. Controllers with a temperature and humidity sensor continuously measure the climate and can automatically make a compatible fan run faster or slower when necessary.
PWM control for EC fans
Modern EC exhaust fans can use PWM control. This allows the speed to be precisely controlled without the disadvantages that some traditional speed controls can cause at low speeds.
For the Hortifan Silent fans we offer both a simple 10-speed PWM Controller and a Hortifan Smart Controller with temperature and humidity sensor. This way you can choose between manual speed control and fully automatic climate-controlled ventilation.
Which fan controller do you need?
Not every controller is suitable for every fan. Therefore, always check which type of control and connection the exhaust fan uses. Especially with EC fans with PWM control, it is important to choose a compatible controller.
